I appreciate all hard work and deep thinking you do for your posts. I’ve been following your work since you were on Canadaland (I especially liked your recent return to short cuts a few weeks ago). I’m most interested in your Canadian content since it’s different from everyone else. Though I do understand you may want broader appeal so 100% Canadian may not be the best way to go.
I'll actually be back on Short Cuts later in July, so keep an eye out for that.
As for the CanCon: This isn't entirely announced yet, but I'm joining both the Toronto Star as a contributing columnist and The Walrus as a contributor. So there'll be lots of places to find me writing on Canada! (Including in here, occasionally.)
I have no requests or additions since I think you curate a great selection of topics. I enjoy your writing style (even with all the spelling mistakes 😆) and I really appreciate all of the background and context that you provide. I'm on automatic resubscribe and I don't see that changing anytime soon!
Happy Anniversary to us all. This was a great post and I’ve cheerfully blown my morning dropping in on old favourites. While I don’t often comment, I try hard not to miss an issue. I always enjoy your explorations (and the multitude of links) and I do agree more often than not. That being said you always make me think.
While I cannot be the exact 10,000th subscriber (almost 2 yr sub) to BaS if you decide to hand out t-shirts I’d really like one.
I really enjoy your writing and usually save your articles for last. I have a lot of subscriptions but will definitely resubscribe to you, for several reasons: I appreciate the quality and research of your journalism. You’re polite and thoughtful in your replies, even when you disagree. Finally, I think you’ve got great followers! I don’t see the crudeness and ignorance that makes reading feedback on other stacks so sickening.
Don't always agree, but always appreciate. Thanks for doing this. It is a real perk (perk & perq) to read something thoughtful and literate.
Hey, I don't always agree with me. Nor would I want to!
Thanks Jacquie

Looking forward to it.
Justin, you make me blush. And not a single typo in this anniversary issue!

Oh, I meant to also say, someone up above made a comment about t-shirts. I would absolutely buy a Bug-eyed and Shameless t-shirt!
Count me in!
Ok that was very much a joke but maybe I should think about it!
"Prebunker Mentality" was awesome!

Keep up the great work Justin and thank you.
Thanks for the kind words, and for sticking around for the whole run! Always appreciate the comments, even if they're infrequent.

Thanks Anne, I genuinely really appreciate it!
And I couldn't agree more about my followers. Those who jump into the comment section always have really thoughtful insights.
